GM Henrik Danielsen, Iceland, wins the 11th Copenhagen Chess Challenge with the score of 7/9, on tie-break, ahead of German IM Thorsten Michael Haub, also 7/9, who scored his 3rd GM norm with this result!

The final standings at the top of the field with 83 players from 11 nations, including 6 GMs, 10 IMs, 1 WIM and many FMs.

The CCC 2015 prices are as follows:

1. price: 4.000 kr.
2. price: 3.000 kr.
3. price: 2.000 kr.
4. price: 1.000 kr.
5. price: 1.000 kr.
6. price: 500 kr.

Rating group prices:

Group 1 - FIDE rating 2251 - 2400 (players 13-32): 1.000 kr.
Group 2 - FIDE rating 2101 - 2250 (players 33-48): 1.000 kr.
Group 3 - FIDE rating 1901 - 2100 (players 49-67): 1.000 kr.
Group 4 - FIDE rating 1000 - 1900 (players 68-83): 1.000 kr.

Prices are not shared but will be decided by tie breaks (Middle Buchholz, thereafter SB - if still equal, price is shared). Only one price can be won by each player.

The 11th Copenhagen Chess Challenge started today with a field of 83 players, headed by 6 GM's and 10 IM's. 9 rounds will be played, and all games will be transmitted live! Information and games etc. can be found through the menues above. We wish everybody a great CCC 2015, and we thank our sponsors: The Copenhagen Chess Federation (KSU), The Danish Chess Federation (DSU), The Support Federation of the Danish Chess Federation (DSUS), and the organising club BMS Skak.

Copenhagen Chess Challenge 2015 will start with 1st round today, April 29th, at 18.00 hrs. We have a great field of players from many nations, headed by 6 GMs, 10 IMs and numerous FMs and other strong players, and with a total number of players around 90! We will have a lot of wonderful chess in the coming days, and more than 40 live boards so you can all follow the action!

The final list of participants and the pairings of 1st round will be available here shortly before 1st round is started. Until then, the list of registered players can be seen from the menu under "Participants".

Some important information:

1) Arrival and registration
Registration will be possible from 16.00 hrs at the playing site. Players shall be registered at the latest 17.30!

2) Late arrival for games
It is accepted that players arrive up to 15 minutes late for a game. The game is lost for the player that arrives later than this to a game.
